End Of Year Reflection

I play the alto saxophone and i enjoyed the songs we played because some of them i remember from somewhere and i like the beats of the songs. The thing that has challenged me the most is learning the notes without the letter written under because its hard to remember all of them at once and sing a song having memorize the notes. I take my instrument rarely home but often i take it on Fridays to practice for the weekend. I am fine with it sort of  glad because i get to play music with an instrument by myself and it could help me in the future. Nothing really except for playing another instrument because it will be better to know how to play other instruments because it will be cool. I don't know if i would want to be will see in the near future.

1st Week Reflection

I play the Alto Saxophone.I sit there because my instrument is louder than some others.Making sounds with the notes.Playing a song in either fast or slow pace.Where they line up.Practice rooms because I can hear how I play and also with class because if sounds cool with all the noises playing at once.Twice because in my house I practiced a song.

Restorative Circle Reflection

 The circle works by having everyone speak on behalf of something but need to wait there turn and to be handed the talking piece. Positive things in the circle are people staying quiet and listening to others while waiting there turn. Also people have participated without any problems. Negative things in the circle are people talking when not supposed to and disrupting others. Also people have been using there phones when that was an agreement we determined not to use. Our circle sometimes have a good experience and not because we learn something new every time and we somethings have fun but not all the time because of disturbance and the opposite. I think we should not have weekly circle because most of the people don't even say anything and it gets boring most of the time and barley people pay attention,but if we continue them then we can make them better but being respectful to others and actively listening and speaking more.

Researching Two Wind Instruments

In This Assignment,I am researching two wind instruments. The Instruments are Alto Saxophone and Trumpet.

 ALTO SAXOPHONE:This Instrument belongs to the woodwind family.It produces sound by pushing air into the mouthpiece,the moving air causes the reed to vibrate at that same frequency and a pitch to sound.

It is made of brass and metal.Charlie Parker is a famous Saxophone Musician

TRUMPET:This Instrument belongs to the brass family.
It produces sound by blowing air through closed lips and making a ''buzzing'' sound into the mouthpiece and starting a standing wave vibration in the air column inside the trumpet.It is made of metal and brass.Louis Armstrong is a famous Trumpet player.He played Jazz.I like this instrument because it sounds nice and smooth.You can hear him play at

Introduction

My name is Fabian Dejesus and im from Mexico and Puerto Rican. I play football,basketball,and soccer. Im 15 and 5'4or 5'5 or 5'6 im not sure. In Music Class im interested in playing two instruments called Alto Saxophone and Trumpet.My favorite subject is not much but math.
